From within

18

I have been trying to make time for solitude. To tuck myself away from the world for a moment and enjoy the simple things. To renew an appreciation for the often-ignored, the often-neglected. It is a nice feeling, albeit scary at times, to feel so grounded and centered, to have such sensible thoughts. I think mental maturity is finally hitting me.

But, I don't think I am ready to think like an adult.

I want to keep believing in Santa.

  5. Beautiful post. Sometimes the best thing anyone can do, young or old, is to take time out of a busy day for themselves. (:

People are really growing up too fast today...I wish everyone could just find the time to slow down.

reminds me of this quote by Margaret Atwood "Another belief of mine; that everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise."

  19. Amazing picture! sun-kissed, serene and beautiful.

I think we all need time for ourselves, to get away from the stressfulness of everyday life and just look inward and ground ourselves.

You can think maturely without losing that childlike spark of life. that's what i try to live by! :)

  20. I love the feeling of solitude you've captured in this photo. I know you spoke of it in your post, but it's even more special when the intended emotion comes through without need of explanation.

    Lovely blog, dear.
